Slope:

The ratio of the change in y - coordinates to the change in x - coordinates.

Photosynthesis:

The process in which plants , algae, and some bacteria use sunlight, carbon dioxide and water to produce carbohydrates(food) and oxygen.

Negotiate:

to confer with another or others in order to reach an agreement.
