The best kept secret in far West Texas is Clint.  Clint is located in Southeast El Paso County, (the lower valley) near the Rio Grande River on the Mission Trail.  Founded in the late 1800’s, Clint began as a rail stop for the Town of San Elizario which was then the County Seat.  In 1886, the residents decided to begin a real community.  Churches and the first Public School in El Paso County were built; the original school house was adobe.  The building known as Clint Junior High School has faced many challenges, fire in 1901.  The fire was produced by a lighting strike, and yet we stand today.  We are rich in many aspects and have many facets and are ever changing.  Known as the “Jewel” of El Paso, our facets include; History, Agriculture, Diversity, Perseverance, Education, Community and becoming the Early College Campus for Clint ISD.  We stand strong and ready to face the challenges of and our students have the skills to be successful in every endeavor, as responsible citizen in the 21st Century.
