Welcome to the Technology Information Services Department of Clint Independent School District Instructional Technology Pages.

Professional Development is an essential componet in the Clint ISD Technology Plan for 2003-2006, in the Texas School Technology and Readiness (STAR) Chart, and in the State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) Technology Applications Standards for All Beginning Teachers.

The Multi-Level Certification Plan (MLCP) is a starting point for technology staff development for the 2003-2004 school year, and modifications are anticipated to be made on an on-going basis in order to make it current, cophrehensive, flexible, and realistic. Check back for updates.

The four levels of comptency are:

Level 1, Early - Proficiency in Using the Computer

Level 2, Developing - Proficiency in Using the Productivity Tools

Level 3, Advanced - Teaching and Learning Integration

Level 4, Target/Mastery - Continuing Education and Mentoring.
