The 2007-2008 School year is a Transitional year for the Journalism Club at MVHS. Everyone involved with the club in the past has either graduated or moved on to focus their attention on other activities.

Instead of simply creating a newspaper for the sake of doing a newspaper, the club has had its hands full with the basics of journalism, from photography and captioning, to interviewing and reporting. The club has also been busy learning their new layout design programs, Adobe Indesign as well as by continuously keeping up on events happening around the world.

We will put our new skills to use with our first publishing, which will chronicle all the events of the first semester in the appropriately themed, "The Fall Semester in Review." This newspaper will be available to students within the first months of the second semester.
