The National Honor Society is a national organization for students with outstanding academic achievements.

Selection usually takes place in the spring. Students with a GPA of 90 or above are invited to join this prestigious society with a letter from the sponsor. If they are interested, they must fill out an application form which must include a list of any participation in school activities, demonstration of leadership, and community service hours. They must also include two letters of recommendation from a teacher and someone outside their family. This information is then reviewed by faculty council.
