Core curriculum:

This class is for students who are interested in a career in law enforcement.

There are three courses; Fundamentals of Law, Criminal Investigation, and Emergency Communications.

 

Students take part in hands-on activities and they also participate in class field trips to a local court house.

 

Six students from Mountain View High School's Law Enforcement class participated in the 2nd Annual UIL Regional Police Skills Competition, held at the El Paso Community College Law Enforcement Academy on December 5, 2009.
