Manuel "Mark" Ayala
Mark Ayala is the Assistant Superintendent of Accountability and Student Achievement in the Clint Independent School District. This year, Mr. Ayala will begin his 34th year as a Texas educator. He began his educational career teaching Science for ten years, was an Assistant Principal for two years, an Elementary Principal at Desert Hills Elementary School for ten years… leading the campus to achieving a T.E.A. Exemplary State rating. Mr. Ayala also served in the capacity as the Principal of Ricardo Estrada Middle School for three years and as the Principal of Clint High School for five years. Most recently, he served as the Director of Secondary Academic and Support Services at the district office for three years.
Mr. Ayala received his Bachelors of Science Degree from The University of Texas at El Paso in 1985 and his Master’s Degree in Mid-Management from Sul Ross State University in 1995.
As the Assistant Superintendent of Accountability and Student Achievement, Mr. Ayala and his excellent staff are excited and committed to serving the “learning needs” of the students and 14 campuses in the Clint Independent School District.
