Welcome to the Clint ISD Certification homepage. Whether you are a recent college graduate, someone changing careers or a teacher from another state/country, the information on this page is provided to assist you with the routes to certification. Our goal is to provide guidance and resources to hire and maintain highly qualified teachers and instructional aides.
Clint ISD strives to hire the most qualified applicants for every position. All teachers should be properly certified as required by the Texas Education Agency and meet the requirements under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Prior to employment, certification requirements must be met and verified. This status will be verified by the Human Resources department
To be considered for hire by Clint ISD as a classroom teacher, an applicant must meet the Texas state requirements for certification. This means the applicant must already hold a full state certification or has been accepted and enrolled in an approved educator preparation program (University or Alternative Certification Program).
