    This is a GREAT website that provides lots of online course about Autism. Some topics are autism and law enforcement/ first responders, assistive technology, behavior, bullying, evidence-based practices, and others! There are also course in Spanish. 

    You can find resources about safety, financial planning, health and wellness, technology, behavior challenges, transition, medical resources, and more!

    This article talks about what proprioception is, and how it may benefit children with autism.

    She provides resources and information about behavior, academics, and communication.

    Preparing Researchers, Educators and Parents (PREP): Tools for Autism and Behavior. "The Center on Disability and Development at Texas A&M University would like to offer training at no cost to Texas parents and caregivers of children up to age 22 with core features of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Parents and caregivers will learn how to improve their child's communication skills. This service is provided by a grant project entitled "Coach to Communicate (C2C)," sponsored by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board." -Kim Williams

    They provide classes for parents, children with autism, and siblings. They provide ABA therapy, a Feeding Clinic, Speech and Occupational Therapy, after-school programs, Parent Night Out, and Teen Night Out; just to name a few of their services!

    Respite care, pest control services, first aid kit, SafeLink cell phone, or weight control program. Contact Medicaid for more information.

     

    • Texas Waiver Programs
      • CLASS (assistance with therapies, case management, personal care, dental, etc.)
      • STAR+PLUS (Medically necessary and meets criteria for a nursing facility)
      • MDCP (Medically necessary and needs the assistance of a registered nurse)
      • DBMD (for individuals that are deaf and blind).
