• Resources for Help and Support with Skyward Qmlativ

No matter if you have been in education for 30 years, or you are a brand-new staff member, Skyward Qmlativ is new to everyone. Below are some resources for help and support. We are all on this journey together and Together... We Build Tomorrow!

    Internal Support Network

Your best resources for training and troubleshooting are often much closer than you think. Skyward Qmlativ is a new system for all of us. The system is designed to provide users access to resources based on their functions and roles. For example: "Assignments" means something completely different from a Teacher to an HR Director. Colleagues in your peer group may have the answers and or all of you may have the same question and need to send it up the chain. Start by reaching out to peers and or your supervisor or department lead for help.

Vector Solutions Training - Will soon transition to Learn EC

The Skyward transition team has assigned initial training courses to get you started. Clint ISD will be implementing a new training platform called Learn EC in July 2024. Once implemented, district staff will migrate completed training from Vector Solutions to the new system and assign learning pathways tailored to user roles in Skyward.

    The Skyward Knowledge Hub

Skyward has help built in. When you are logged into the software, click on the Question Mark in the top right corner to access the Knowledge Hub.

    The Skyward Help Center

The Skyward Help Center: is a one-stop support shop for Qmlativ users, housing every tutorial, flow chart, checklist, and training video Skyward created for the system.

The Help Center was designed to help you get the most out of your technology without having to make a call or consult an instruction manual.

With the smart search capability, you can find content and documentation that relates to your problem and is tailored to your role.

Access Help Center by clicking on the Question Mark at the top right of the screen when logged into Qmlativ. (Training or Live Database)

    The Skyward Community

The Community connects you to a global network of Qmlativ users. You’ll be able to chat with people from districts large and small who perform the same tasks as you. Making these connections is an easy way for everyone to share ideas and improve processes.

Some of the Community's most popular features include report sharing, discussion boards (to get ideas and feedback from people at other districts), and blog posts by the Skyward team. There are also opportunities to join groups specific to you.

The Professional Development Center (PDC) - Advanced User Roles

The PDC is a training tool designed for Skyward users with advanced roles. With self-paced courses and simulated walkthroughs, it's the ultimate resource for Skyward users. The PDC is popular as a reference and refresher tool for existing staff, as well as a quick way to bring new hires up to speed.

Your assigned district's PDC coordinator will ensure you are enrolled in the right courses. They'll also be able to help you identify any other courses you may be interested in taking.

Skyward Academy - Advanced User Roles

The academy is made up of two complimentary training options to assist you in your use of the Skyward system.

Just in Time Courses: These are short/specific topics that are strategically timed for your software needs. They may be a quick refresher, a best practice or something new that has been released. An example of a J.I.T. training might be Year End Processing.

Full Training Courses: These are full length courses on the different modules within the software. They are typically run each quarter and can be taken in whole or by specific segments. The whole course will cover all aspects of the module in 2-3 hour segments. You can also review the topics in a course and take an individual area for that module. For example, if you have not used Worksheets in Payroll, you could select that section and you will be assigned the different classes associated to that topic. If you want to drill even further you could take one or more of the specific classes within that topic.
