Welcome to the Clint ISD Family!
Our mission is to prepare teacher residents to become high-quality educators who excel in learner-centered, innovative, engaging instruction. We believe in fostering a safe and inclusive space that promotes the well-being and growth of every student. We aim to equip our residents with effective strategies and methods to foster resilience, ensuring their success and long-term retention as teachers. Additionally, our program focuses on providing teacher residents with the necessary resources and support to be fully prepared to teach Day-1 in our Clint ISD schools. Our Residency Goals:
- To build a positive culture and excitement around the residency.
- To provide residents strategies on resiliency to aide in teacher retention in clint ISD Schools.
- To provide residents to be Day-1 ready to teach in Clint ISD classrooms.
Our Resident Benefits:
- Receive eight days of paid leave with full teacher benefits.
- Pay into the Teacher Retirement /system (TRS).
- We provided ongoing training and coaching by district coordinator.
- Are issues a Clint ISD laptop and iPad.
- Will receive continued two-year support as a new teacher.
- Are eligible to qualify for Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) once they are certified teachers.
