• Voice Level Information

    Voice Level 0 indicates silence. This should happen when an adult is talking, during an emergency or drill, when standing in line, in a hallway, in restrooms and during assemblies.

    Voice Level 1 indicates quiet talking which only allows people close to you to hear you. Voice level 1 is appropriate for the cafeteria, library, bus, centers, office, and nurse's office. 

    Voice Level 2 indicates a voice for large groups and should only be used for classroom presentations or when speaking for a whole class to hear. 

    Voice Level 3 indicates a loud and proud voice that is only used outside or on the playground. 

     

    Playground Expectations

    Be Respectful

    • Include everyone
    • Keep hands and feet to yourself
    • Be a good sport
    • Use kind words

    Be Responsible

    • Keep the play area clean
    • Line up when you hear the whistle
    • Use the Peace Path

    Be Safe

    • Stay in the play area
    • Use equipment correctly
    • Listen to the adult in charge

     

    Restroom Expectations

    Be Respectful

    • Give others privacy
    • Wash hands

    Be Responsible

    • Keep trash in the trash can
    • Flush the toilets
    • Keep water in the sink
    • Tell a teacher if the restroom needs to be fixed or cleaned

    Be Safe

    • Use the restroom that is assigned to you
    • Return to class quickly

     

    Bus Expectations

    Be Respectful

    • Keep hands and feet to yourself
    • Use kind words
    • Thank your bus driver

    Be Responsible

    • Be on Time
    • Know your bus number and address

    Be Safe

    • Walk safely onto the bus
    • Sit in your assigned seat
    • Listen to the adult in charge

     

    Hallway Expectations

    Be Respectful

    • Be courteous
    • Allow the teacher to lead the class

    Be Responsible

    • Individual students will use a hall pass
    • Students will go directly to their destination

    Be Safe

    • Walk on the right side of the hall in a straight line
    • Stop at every red square
    • Low speed
    • Keep hands to your side and use walking feet

     

    Cafeteria Expectations

    Be Respectful

    • Only eat from your plate
    • Practice good manners at the table
    • Raise your hand if you need assistance
    • Listen to all adults in the cafeteria

    Be Responsible

    • Wait your turn in line
    • Know your lunch #
    • Sit at assigned lunch table
    • Keep your table and area clean, no food on the floor
    • All food and drink stay inside
    • Empty tray carefully

    Be Safe

    • Walk at all times in the cafeteria
    • Hold tray with both hands
    • Stay seated at all times
    • Both feet on the floor
