    The El Paso United Family Resiliency Center (FRC) is a place of healing and support dedicated to serving as a resource to those directly and indirectly impacted by the August 3, 2019 tragedy.     Project Bravo

    Affordable rental apartments, counseling services and advocacy for additional affordable housing developments. Other services provided include first-time home buyer counseling, money management, pre-purchase counseling, post-purchase counseling, financial literacy classes and information and referrals on reverse mortgages.

    Project Bravo is complying with the City of El Paso’s Shelter in Place orders. However, people interested can be assisted over phone between 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Applications may be mailed or faxed to your neighborhood center or apply through email at apply@projectbravo.org

    Grocery Shopping for Vulnerable At-Risk Customers

    El Paso and Las Cruces area stores are accommodating seniors and vulnerable at-risk customers by reserving special morning hours.

    • Albertson’s: Tuesday and Thursday from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
    • Target: First hour of shopping every Wednesday.
    • Walmart: Every Tuesday for one hour before the store opens.
    • Vista Supermarket: 6:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. every morning.
    • Dollar General: First hour of operations each day.
    • Whole Foods: One hour before the store opens each day.

    El Paso Fighting Hunger Food Bank Mega Pantry Distribution Drive-Thru

    These Mega Pantries will distribute 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Except Kelly Center for Hunger Relief, which will distribute Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

    Senior Nutrition Program 

    Meal Distribution at Senior Centers to Continue for Qualifying Senior Residents Action to Protect Public from Evolving COVID 19 - until further notice. Meals are distributed every Tuesday, form 10 a.m. to noon, at all City Senior Centers for seniors enrolled in the El Paso County Senior Noontime Meal Program. Call (915) 546-8167 to register for home delivered meals only. To be eligible for this program a person must be 60 years of age or older and a person with disabilities. For home-delivered meals, must a be home-bound or disabled. To register for a meal at any of the 20 centers, must complete an Assessment Form for eligibility determination and must complete one each year for continued eligibility.

    Clint ISD

    Clint ISD will provide breakfast and lunch service March 23-27 and March 30-April 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at all schools in Clint ISD to pick up and take home. Clint ISD buses will also stop at specific locations to drop off meals.

    El Paso Local Transit (Sun Metro) Free Rides

    Sun Metro will be waiving all bus fares starting Sunday, March 22, 2020. Effective Wednesday, March 25, 2020, Sun Metro will implement service modifications in response to COVID-19. The service modifications will remain in effect until further notice. Streetcar service is suspended until further notice. All passengers will board and exit buses through the rear doors. Boarding exceptions will be made for riders who have accessibility needs and require the use of the drop-down ramps located at the front doors. All passengers are encouraged to leave two empty seats between themselves and others.
