• Dear Clint ISD Family,

We hope that you are doing well and are ready to begin our 2020-2021 school year. The document outlines our district’s School Building Practices during ILEARN@HOME. The document includes information on safety protocols we will follow to help with the prevention, response, and mitigation of the COVID-19 virus while you are at school or district building. This document only outlines procedures on the return of our staff members. A separate document will be created geared toward our students and parents once we begin offering in-person, face-to face instruction.

Teachers and instructional staff will be returning to school buildings on Tuesday, July 21st, for professional development and to prepare for the upcoming school year. Instruction will begin on Monday, July 27th with teachers providing instruction from their classroom while students remain at home.

Clint ISD staff members who work at a school building or visit the school buildings please read the attached information. Once you have read it please complete the  Google Form below. If you have any questions about district-wide protocols, you may enter these into the form and you will receive a response back from a district team member. If you have questions about specific campus procedures, please reach out to your campus principal.

    Required Steps before Returning On-Site:

    1. Here is a brief overview video explaining the steps: https://youtu.be/fgn8VNGoH9I
    2. For everyone's safety, all campus staff and district staff who visit school buildings must read the PDF document
    3. After reading the document, fill out the Google Form:  https://forms.gle/sNggE27tSK1USqyJ9

As the trajectory of the virus continues to evolve, the safety protocols we must follow will also evolve. For now, our main goal is for all of us to return to a safe work environment and at the same time provide a world class education for all our students. Let us work safely to ensure that our students don't miss a beat in their education.

    Respectfully,

    Dr. Juan I. Martinez

    Superintendent of Schools
