  • CLINT ISD ELECTION SYSTEM

In 2018, the Clint ISD Board of Trustees voted in favor of a new election system. The new board election system of Clint ISD will be a combination of "At Large" and "Single-Member Districts" and consist of seven members. Five of the Trustee positions will be elected from Single-Member Districts and the other two positions will be elected At-Large for four-year terms.

Candidates for Single-Member District positions must reside within the boundaries of that district. Candidates for At-Large positions may live anywhere within the boundaries of the Clint Independent School District.

All registered voters residing in the school district may vote for the At-Large Position.  Registered voters who reside within a particular Board of Trustee District may vote for their residing district.
