Due Process

According to TEA: 

Appendix 8.E-PEIMS Additional Information Related to Discipline: 

• • If a student is involved in a reportable disciplinary incident, and the student attempts to withdraw from school before the disciplinary assignment is made, the district/school should complete the due-process proceedings that result in a required disciplinary assignment before the student is allowed to withdraw. 

   

  • District/school is required to report incomplete assignments in order to remain in compliance with Chapter 37.
